Follow up. On closer inspection, yes there does seem to be minor water ingress in the boot. Looped the fibre on the Nokia Bluetooth module, no change. Consensus of opinion on other forums it’s probably the amp. Very difficult to see if there was evidence of water damage to the amp in situ and what a pain to remove it. All the other components have to come out and all the wiring looms/connectors pulled out of the way before the bracket with it and the TV tuner are on can come out. No evidence of water damage on any of the connectors and only a small water stain on the top edge. Opened it up and found a couple of very small areas of corrosion so going to get a second hand replacement, am I correct to say better get one out of a Discovery as they’re under the seat and less likely to have had water ingress? Also with everything removed and unplugged, with the ignition on, should one of the fibres from the front be lit?
Thank you, John.
