I’ve already got original letters from another member so I think buying genuine just to get the template is perhaps an expensive way to fix this problem (although it’s not ruled out). Looking at the letters on my bonnet closely (never noticed before) they are different from each other and not stuck on perfectly, the curved effect has been achieved by just tilting the “R” at each end slightly.. when I say the letters are different from each other some are a mm or two shorter. So I’ve just ordered the L322 template from Powerful and see what I can do with scissors and masking tape. I’m in no rush, obviously, but they are getting a bit blacker by the month. So Making a template from the existing might not be the best answer, neither bodging the L322 template from Powerful but it’s only 8 quid against a couple of hundred for genuine so it’s worth a punt. Of course I could just stick them on by eye and risk all the “should have gone to Specsavers” comments
