Pirelli Scorpion NCS puncture

I appear to have a slow puncture in the near side rear tyre.
I popped into a local tyre bay yesterday to get it repaired and they wouldn’t touch it as it’s got the foam pads in. I asked if they could recommend anyone and they couldn’t.

Can these be repaired? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I had the following experience and eventually bought a new tyre. Take it to ATS for 2nd opinion, you might get an official reason why it cant be done. It might be residue glue from foam pad, cant see how a bit of lightweight foam can cause a balance issue either.

I know they can be repaired as I was looking at part worn NCS on eBay and most come with one repair. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

providing its not near the sidewall then yes its can be repaired...its a bit fiddly cos you need to clean the area around the hole carefully so as the glue can stick properly. ... - .- -.

We had one recently in an L322 with the PNCS tyres on it. I rang a few places about them but the one who sounded like they knew what they were doing was the local Kwik Fit.

I dropped the wheel off and collected it a few hours later, refitted it to the car and took it for a run. No issues with the balancing, no issues with noise, etc.

When I asked what they done, they said they'd cut a square out of the foam the size of the patch, repaired the tyre and glued the foam back in. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather
