That makes sense. I had ticked the "rip at highest quality" option, which probably didn't help. |

The multimedia system is powered by the IVI (Intel in-vehicle infotainment), practically an Intel Atom micro PC with a 60GB SSD... "It's an Intel Quad Core 1.9 GHz Atom E3845 SOC with 4GB of RAM and a 60GB SSD. If Rear Seat Entertainment is specified, a 160GB SSD is used. With the 60GB drive, 10GB is configured for user media, the 160GB drive increases that to 110GB of user media storage". The maps occupy ~ 35GB.

Interesting. I do have the RSE, so should have something like 75GB of free space.
