[For Sale] L405 rear calipers with actuators - genuine LR

£200 for the pair. The calipers are in need of refurbishing. Actuators working fine.

Please message if my pricing is way out. I believe that new these parts would be over £400 each fr caliper plus actuators.

They are from a late 2012 L405 4.4 Tdv8. 2012 SDV8 Vogue SE

Yes, they take 365mm discs, I'll get photo's.

I can have them refurbed by my garage if you want, and painted whatever colour you wish, but this would be at additional cost. 2012 SDV8 Vogue SE

The calipers have different mounting brackets according to disc diameter, so if both cars were fitted with the “performance brakes” option (all V8’s) you are good to go, check this picture of the two types, the difference is hard to notice:

There are also TWO types of actuator plug:

Yes correct, it’s equal to the difference between the radii of the two different brake discs.
The calipers are identical, only the brackets change according to disc diameter.
V8 = 380mm front, 365mm rear.
V6 = 365mm front, 350mm rear.

So, the “bigger” brackets are +7.5mm longer than Standard.
Same caliper, now sits 7.5mm further out from the axis.

The Right/Left “offset” of the calipers/discs are identical between both types, so no concerns when upgrading say V6 brakes to V8 brakes, as I have done on my V6 L405.
Not a concern if both donor & recipient vehicles are both V8’s. Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?
