The two corners of the parcel shelf have been broken at some point and I'm wondering if it's possible or worth trying to fix them? They are currently held in place by the 'coatings' top and bottom, and don't impact the functionality, so it's purely cosmetic to give a properly flat parcel shelf again...

Any experiences/thoughts?

I repaired my previous one with some fibreglass matting on the underside with some 2 pack resin inforced into the cracks.

Once done, I painted the refinished shelf with grey sandtex believe it or not so as to have a sort of unpainted materialish look and match the carpet. Came out quite crap with any kind of close inspection but it worked fine.

Given the time and materials would have been a lot easier just to buy a replacement off EBAY.

£70 seems about the going price.
