My 2013 l405 AB has terrible front light compared to my l322 so I want to upgrade dipped and main. Changing dipped doesn't seem an issue but how do I change the main/high beam ? If it actually possible ? I have disconnected the wire from the fitting but how does the bulb come out ? Does it actually come out ? My head hurts.😮‍💨 Can someone please help me . My autisism is in over drive atm.

People have been fitting LED replacement for HID globes to the L405 with reported improvement of the main beam. I fitted such globes to my MY12 L322 but not for better low-beam light, which I consider they indeed provide, but because they're quite inexpensive compared with HID globes. I had already fitted an HID kit to the high-beam fill-ins.

Edit: The L405 doesn't have an additonal/separate main beam light.

They were a complete backwards step sadly. Few folk have fitted light bars with excellent results.

It's disappointing the L405 doesn't have a dedicated main beam unit ... it's not as if they were lacking space in the head unit to fit something in there. V8 or else ...
