3.6tdv8 coolant leak

Hi all, new to the forum and new to the wonderful life of l322 ownership, picked up a 58 plate vogue that had a new engine and turbos etc 75k ago and a refurb gearbox last year, seems to have been looked after reasonably well.
While viewing noticed it was slightly wet leaking coolant, decided to roll the dice since it's not losing it into the engine.
Haven't had a chance to really start pulling it apart yet but planning to this week, I've narrowed it down to an area on the expansion bottle side of the engine, it's down behind a section of heat shield toward the front that side.
Any likely culprits for a leak there? Did a bit of digging for a cooling system diagram but couldn't seem to find one

Thanks!!

There are a lot of threads on here about coolant leaks, the search function takes a bit of getting used to finding the right wording and selecting the right section but is invaluable in finding information.
here's one for example.

I don't know if you have downloaded the workshop manual in the WIKI (under the fullfatrr on the right) but that is esssential if you want to work on the vehicle.

Thanks Red,

I did do a lot of searching around and found plenty of interesting information but nothing on the specific area that I’ve noticed mine seems to originate from so thought it might be worth the ask.

I didn’t realise there was a workshop manual on here! When I get back home to the PC I will download it and get to reading, thank you!

Smile
