High milage d350 ok?

I've managed to find the perfect spec for me on an L460. HSE D350 with tan leather.

The downside is the milage, it is a mid 2022 car with 100 000 km or 62 000 miles. Is that too much on this car or still acceptable? I'm thinking it is less than 3 years old and the milage is reflected in the price.

It’s the all important question as if that was 62k miles driven carefully on motorways etc or 62k miles driven carelessly in towns, stop/start traffic etc.

You could argue 62k careful motorway miles is equivalent to say 30k town miles - I don’t think there is an exact formula but I am sure you get the point I am making.

As people often say, buy on condition and not mileage.

If it is the right spec and have FSH and in good condition I would go for it.

if the price is right and reflects the mileage, go for it. Lots of miles in a short period of time may also indicate that car was working/not broken often enough to be used a lot and not a lemon. First time FFRR owner

I’d be interested in how it had been maintained in that period. Has it had oils done at the 21k recommended interval or more frequently. It’s possible that it’s only had 3 oil changes in that milage,
More would definitely be preferable even though LR say 21k is ok…….

So long as it’s been looked after the milage wouldn’t neccesarily put me off it was mainly motorway, especially as I do a fairly low milage so I would be pulled back over time towards a more average figure. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thanks for all the answers. I agree I'd rather have high motorway milage than mainly city milage.

It sounds like milage on a L460 is no issue if it is well maintained.

I'll keep you posted.

I have had RR's for 20 years and the car you are looking at indicates to me that it has been used and not spent half its life sat in LR main dealers being repaired or waiting for parts.

Just my view of course.
