The early SV cars had the old BMW power plant but once they went to the 615BHP version all of the LR’s using the BMW got the newer power plant inc the P530.

The P530 engine is the same as the P615 but just de-tuned in the same way BMW offer the M variant in the X5 - i.e. they do an X5M60i or an X5M. In the X7 there is only the M60i and no M variant

All BMW’s and the LR’s using the BMW engine have a performance restriction that gradually increases power  "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

Do they still do the P530 or was this axed when P615 was released?

Its a new car but I thought the V8's all changed to P615 some time ago (wasn't able to go V8 this time around so I genuinely do not know the answer to my own question above as I was not following this model).
