If you go with non LED and then use LED, they will flash randomly all the time. Like, both red and amber, not just indicators. Flicker might be a better description. They'll be useless.

Didn’t know there was a problem with LED bulbs on the 405. When I had my tow bar done the electrics were just a plug in unit, which goes into the car. Pretty sure there wasn’t a module to fit, it’s just a short pigtail off then socket to a set of plugs behind the bumper. I don’t think there is a difference on the LR side between LED and Non LED.
