Instrument swap

Hi guys
I’ve got a problem hopefully someone can help me with

I swapped my clocks over because my old ones had bad pixels now Im getting suspension inactive and
All my abs lights are on and won’t go off
Does anyone have any ideas on how to sort this I’ve plugged it into my diagnostic tool but no faults are showing

It’s a 2004 4.4v8 petrol if that helps

Cheers Phil

Have you tried turning the steering wheel from lock to lock ? Then going for a drive ?

After working on the car sometimes the system needs to re-learn the full range of steering positions. Steering from lock to lock does this. This can apply to things like the ABS system errors too, as part of the stability control system relies on knowing what the steering angle is in order to apply ABS to try and bring the car under control. If it's not re-learned it, it can't work the stability / abs system properly. V8 or else ...

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Not an expert but I think the cluster needs coding to the car.

When I had the pixel issue on my 2003 you could just buy a repair kit and garage replaced the ribbon to the LCD……

Hopefully you haven’t created more issues to fix.

Wonder if now you can send your original cluster off to be fixed and then replace it when it comes back. Not helping you now I know……

Have a look at this thread 'Switching L322 out of BMW Transport MODE' on here.
Its for reprogamming the ZKE, but the method should work for reprogramming the cluster module too.

bye. 2003 TD6, EGR delete, vortex crankcase breather update, performance chip, UHF 2 way, Android head unit, crash camera on dash, always-on rear view camera to mirror screen, LED DRL`s, Electric trailer brake controller. FSR replaced. Pulling 3T caravan all about Australia
