Should "Guardian Mode" be switched on?

I've just noticed that "Guardian Mode" (whatever that is) in the "Remote App" for my L460 is switched off. Should this be turned on to improve / increase security?

Hi Allister, I think you switch it on manually when the vehicle is at a bit more risk than normal, IE leaving it at the airport, parked up for a few days on the street, you are on holiday etc ... Its a heightened level of monitoring but I think you loose some of the remote app functionality whilst it is on. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

Thank you for answering that JEZ.... I'm currently overnight in Sheffield and forgot to put my Disklok in the car.

The car is in a hotel car park and although there is barriers, it is making me slightly nervous, as it is more vulnerable than normal.

So this I suspect is the perfect situation for Guardian Mode - Will switch it on overnight now.

Many thanks once again and hope all is well with you.

Best,

Allister

It should send you a notification if the doors open, even with a key (or if they grab the key signal to unlock/open) First time FFRR owner
