The lower screen on my MY21 has given up the ghost.

I bought it brand new from Dick Lovett, Melksham, so you would think that having purchased 13 LR's over the years they would do all they can to look at the problem, especially as I have no heating controls. As is the norm for LR service levels they have said they cannot look at it until 26th February next year, by which time heating in the car will probably not be so important.

I should add that my car before(a MY18 car), had exactly the same issues and it took two years for them to sort the screen out, so I wonder whether the bright boys at JLR have sorted the problem yet!!

Maybe their lethargy in getting the car into their workshop is down to me owning it, therefore they are not in the market for a partx and flogging me another new vehicle????? Fat chance!!

Land Rover assist if still in warranty will get it in asap with dropping you a courtesy off. I was told by a very helpful individual to not mess about with the service department just call assist and it will be in the same day with pressure to sort it out so the courtesy car can be returned. Thanks for this Nabbler, as with most LR things, I tried to contact them this morning and gave up after 10 minutes waiting for a (in their words),"priority" call!!

Of course i could always press the emergency button in the car!!  All LR cars from 1984
