[For Sale] 2005 4.4 petrol AJV8 Range Rover Vogue SE £3,500

Uncommon 4.4 petrol AJV8 with 152,000 miles, great spec, everything works except rear screen washer jet, 7 owners including myself, good general condition, excellent mechanically, part service history, recent major service including all fluids, MOT until May 2025, ‘cheap’ £415 annual road tax, ULEZ compliant

Looking for £3,500 ovno. Located in Surrey GU8.
Specification:
Java black exterior, Black leather interior, 2006 model year face lift, SE spec, additional factory rear seat entertainment, tow bar and side steps. Comes with set of rubber matts, dash cam & GAPID diagnostic tool. I know they only made these for 1 year with the robust naturally aspirated AJV8 and I rarely see one for sale.

General Condition
In good condition with a few car park dings and scratches to the bodywork, but presents very well for a 19 (almost 20) year old car! I recently had the steering wheel refurbished, factory tints removed and headlights polished. Everything works except the rear screen washer jet (may need unblocking?)

Bad bits
- The bonnet has started to fade over the last few months and could do with a buff.
- There are a few surface rust bubbles appearing at the back of the passenger rear arch.
- Tailgate good but signs of a little rust on underside of the lip.
- Rear washer jet as mentioned above (wiper works fine)
- The last MOT flagged some underbody corrosion, but this was the first ever advisory for corrosion.

With a little bit of work this could be an excellent example of an increasingly rare car.

Service History & Maintenance:
- Dealer servicing up to 40k
- Specialist servicing 52k - 129k
- Owner serviced 136k - 146k
- Specialist again at 149k

Mechanically the car has been faultless during my ownership. The previous owner had her since 2016. He was a mechanic and serviced the car himself, hence part service history.

I purchased in September 2023 and all I’ve had to replace is a faulty window regulator and a bad battery. I had a major service carried out in June 2024 at 149k including diff, gearbox and transfer case oils. I then drove 2,000 miles around France and she didn’t miss a beat.

Lots of other general and preventative maintenance has been carried out over the last 7 years (by the previous owner) including:
- New air con compressor
- New water pump + thermostat
- New brake lines
- New brake calipers, disks + pads
- New front struts
- New air tank
- New battery 2023
- New alternator and belts

Thanks for looking. Please DM me with any questions.

I will add close-up pictures of the arches and what I can of sills in the coming days
