I am thinking of changing my 2013 L405 to another 405 with Red Leather and I cant make up my mind

whether I like it or not ??
What do you think??

Snap - looking to change my 2013 for a newer one and I was looking at a 2021 with Red Leather but its so rare I cant make my mind up, SWMBO says she doesn't like or want black. At first glance I think it maybe looks strange but I think it will also grow on you. SWMBO also need steps and a I need a towbar as well so will keep on looking. Geoff

It’s definitely a statement but not too bad.

Ironically I bought a car from them 4 years ago, would recommend them as a dealership, very professional and the after care was decent.

Pimento isn’t it? A marmite colour TBF. Not for me on a FFRR, but I had an R56 Mini JCW in astro black which had red leather interior and it looked the nuts.

One thing I consider with any car purchase, though, is its re-sale value or perhaps more importantly, potential re-sale difficulty due to any colour combinations / spec, etc.

My advice is, if you like it, just go ahead and get it, but do consider that one day you will most likely be selling it again!

Yeah thats what i was thinking about resale, and i do like changing quite a bit

I think it would help resale as it will stand out more and my observation is the cheaper they become the younger the buyer. The red looks quite nice but I would prefer less red on the doors and dashboard if possible. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Santorini black ivory leather

I had a 5.0 SC that had the jet / pimento leather interior and in person, it’s not as bright as it often appears in photo’s. When I advertised it, I had to wait for just the right light to accurately show the red colour in the photos I used.

Best to see one in the flesh and decide - personally I liked it and the buyer was equally happy, also had another forum member see it when collecting some parts I had for sale and his initial misgivings quickly vanished when he saw it first hand.
