A good locksmith will take the module out, read it with their programmer and can create you another key. It'll be £200-250 for that kind of job.

I believe you can programme a key yourself with an IID tool.

yes i can confirm that the gap tool will program a key even when from a different range rover (done two) takes about 2-3 min |

I can only report from the German area: If you want a new key for the Range Rover from 2015 onwards, the control unit has to be reprogrammed and not even the clever car thieves from Lithuania can do that so easily, even my long-time key supplier couldn't do it. I got an unprogrammed Key from Dan at Duckworhs (he's no longer there) for £70 and programmed it with an idtool. Geoff |
