B1194 - Crash Sensor - Struggling To Fix

Hey! I’m looking for some advice on a 2008 Range Rover L322 3.6 TDV8.

The airbag light is on, and every time I clear the fault (B1194), it comes back straight away. I believe the issue is with the front driver’s side crash sensor.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!

Any one have idea of what this looks like? I've looked under the RH light and there is something which I've plugged in and out. It made no difference. Thanks. Peter.

Hi Peter,

There’s a YouTuber who fixed a very similar issue I believe, go straight to 09:30 in the video.

Very interesting. Thank you! I never considered that the wires in the loom could have split.

Nevertheless, I think it's worth examining!

Quick questions, does anyone know the part number for the front impact sensor?
