Hey all, with Christmas holidays coming I’m making a plan to revitalise my drivers seat. After 135k miles the foam is past its best. Having read around, taking the seat out then removing the base sounds like the way to go. My parts list is currently some new hog rings and hog ring pliers. And of course the base foam itself. Can anyone confirm the part number for the foam for heated, cooled seats on a 2012? Some digging around suggests it’s LR009645 but would like to confirm as it’s over £200 and I’d rather not get it wrong.

Also, the passenger seat creaks when someone sits in it. Any ideas where to start with that?

Not sure on the condition of your seat foam but if it’s just flatter that it originally was, then you can use steam forced into it and it will plump up like it was when originally made, seen quite a few car upholsterers do it now to reshape the foam back to normal. Borrowed Grey 2002 3d 204k for a year

Don't waste your time with hog rings just use cable ties thats what I use whenever I repair the heated seat element on our cars and other people's. So much easier .
