Rear seat control module - where is it located.

The rear seat back rest and lumbar support is controlled by a separate module “RRSM” (rear right seat module) which is not the one in the seat base (seat climate module). Can anybody advise where it is located? Car is 2014AB with 60/40 split rear seats and powered back rests. Cheers Richard.
This is the module from an eBay listing.

Were you able to find the module? I have a similar issue, except mine is with the left side rear seat module. the "60" side of the 60/40 wont fold, and I get codes for the left rear seat module for both the seatback and lumbar support. It is really annoying not being able to fold the seat, and I am pretty sure the issue is with the module.

Hi no I did not find the module or get an answer to the question from anyone else who had located it unfortunately. I did remove the seat bases (there are clips on the underside to release) and tried tracing the loom but as it looked as though I’d need to remove the carpets I did not progress. The online manuals are very vague too and asked my Indy and they did not know either! Good luck and let me know if you locate it!

I think you will find it after you take the spare wheel out and the lining surrounding it, It is on the left side in a cradle.
I can't remember if you have to lift the air compressor as well to get the liner out. 2017 SDV8 4.4 silicon silver AB

Do let us know how you get on if you wouldn’t mind, post a few pics?
Per Tinman’s note, that was one of the places I thought the loom could terminate.

Edit : I still have good news and bad news though.

Found a TSB with the module locations. They are under the floor liner in between the front and rear seats. To access them out looks like you probably just need to remove all the b pillar trim so you can lift carpet enough to get at the modules. I can able to pull the carpet up a bit and see that my connectors were totally corroded, so I'm sure I need a new module as well as new wiring harness connectors. It's going to be a project...

Link to the TSB I used to find them, and a photo of what mine looks like

I know this is an old thread but since I had a new parking ECU fitted the offside rear seat doesn't quite go back as far as the nearside, it is only slight but now I've noticed it it bugs me. It might always have done it and I've not noticed but any thoughts appreciated. Geoff
