L460 hybrid business leases

Looking at getting a P550e AB through my ltd company.
Does anyone know how the leases work?
Are they all controlled by JLR or can the dealers do a deal?

You’ll probably be better off PCP’ing the car rather than leasing it in terms of reaching a lower monthly figure. Lots of deals to be had on new car atm, especially those that have already been built! I might be wrong but I’m in the same position as you and this is what I’ve found so far.

Hope that helps

Thanks. I’m getting my head around the VAT treatment of a PCP vs business lease.
At least with a PCP you can negotiate hard on the purchase price and then just feed that into the PCP sums whereas with a straight lease it’s all a bit hidden.

PCP through the business gives you the ability to chop in whenever you want (sell the car and pay-off).

And walk away with the remaining equity (if there is any!).

To end a lease you need to buy-out the full term.

Bigger deposit needed with PCP but like you say, you can negotiate the deal. Price of the car, incentives (deposit contribution, insurance, loyalty discount) etc.

True, but the VAT treatment isn’t quite as straightforward.
