| Frozen Folding Mirrors/Deploy Steps/Doors | |
Guys, can't find anything that talks about this on the forum.
Been a touch chilly this week, but I'm still wearing my shorts. Been out in the RR and each time one of the mirrors doesn't unfold and takes a couple of attempts. Should I just squirt some WD upward into the hinge to avoid happening again?
I remember a dealer doing something similar with my mum's FL2, the giveaway was there was more lube plastered down the doors than in the mirror hinge 
Also, driver's deployable step didn't want to fold in without a little persuasion.... I'll probably try the same with the pins and bushes?
Also need to get some silicon spray on the doors - works a treat on the SL seals so I'm sure it'll solve the welded closed doors on the RR
