Hi just looking for a bit of advice, on the way home the other evening she sprung a bit of a leak from the coolant reservoir bottle noticed this in a Tesco car park bought some glue and tape and a big bottle of water not ideal but figured it’d get me home…. Coming along the motorway about to pull into a service station to check the levels, she cut out and steam/smoke from the bonnet, temperature gauge stayed bang in the centre as normal though an oil warning light appeared.
Managed to coast into the service station, upon inspecting she’s lost an awful lot of oil. Water pouring out at a rate of knots.
Later after adding a bit more oil and turning over noticed it pretty much spraying from the vanos solenoid, ordered a new one and coolant bottle.
Decided to do an oil and filter change noticed a small amount of water come out, though not lot’s about half a cup full. The oil wasn’t milky and nor was the remaining coolant that I drained out.

Though she’s turning over she’s not starting does anyone have any suggestions? I’m at the point of getting a bit worried it’s something a bit more serious I’m reasonably ok with a spanner in hand but no mechanic.

Many thanks for your time H
