The first version always got good reviews and while not the best, the newer version it a very good AS tyre.

4 of these went on today, I was going to do 2 but then realised as I was changing the size, it wasn't the best idea. So 4 fresh tyres are now on. Early impressions on the way home, the ride is much better, less wallowing and more certainty on the road. More details to follow. |

Quick update on these, they continue to impress me. The traction is great in the wet with all the rain we've had. Confidence inspiring in the dry and positive handling on both country lanes and motorways. As with changing any tyres from worn, mismatches ones to new, matching boots all round they're always going to be better than what was on there but I'd definitely recommend these and would buy them again.

Thanks for the review Rob, will be interested to hear what you think of them after driving in the Alpes. You mentioned a size change - what size did you fit ? 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

I went from 255/50/20 to 255/55/20 so only a small change. There seems to be a wider choice at that size, hence the change. The speedo reads correctly so no issues there. |
