I removed the above but for the life of me cant put this back!

The user manual is useless and is of no help...any ideas?

It’s quite simple.
Whilst the shelf is out of the car fold the shelf up.
Then manoeuvre the shelf back into position, you’ll find that it drops into the mouldings and then you push the shelf away from you to ‘click’ it in place.
Then, using the manual shelf switches on the small panel on the RHS of the boot, makes sure the drive mechanism is fully retracted.
Then, tip up the two shelf sections and you’ll find that the lug on the RHS of the shelf drops into the retraction mechanism.
Check that the auto mode is selected on the shelf switches (on the rhs of the boot) and the shelf should extend when the tailgate is closed.
I hope that makes sense, it’s quite simple when you get the hang of it.
