I believe I read somewhere that petrol 405's are not rated for roof boxes? Worth checking into sir... |

I also heard that from the saleswoman at my first test drive. It made me panic a little, as that means Ski/snowboard runs are no longer possible and I should have kept the discovery!

They are probably just covering themselves incase anyone does 155 mph with a roof box which I suspect wouldn’t be a happy ending! Just stick below 90 and it should all be ok - it’s a big thing to have on the roof at excessive speeds… 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

Yes, OK, fair point, thank you. Perhaps I will try to find something definitive in case of a roadside discussion or, if needed, change my plans. |

I've had a look at roofboxes, to see if I can find anything written down. Nothing in the handbook.

The only thing I've read relates to opening the roof with a box on, apparently you cant. Doesn't detract from the fact that you have a stunning car. Geoff |

I bought a boot mat secondhand from ebay, but it was the one for executive seats and with the bit that also goes in the cubbyhole on the driver's side. I think the part number is VPLGS0437.
