New-ish here, I’ve a 2012 L322 TDV8 Autobiography, purchased in February; my first Range Rover and it has not disappointed!! Absolutely smitten!!

It has deployable side steps, but the near side hinges are now shot. The rear got sticky, and the front snapped its pins because of the rear.

Now these are not available, anywhere. I can’t even find used ones on EBay.

But, there appear to be some, ahem, “Chinese” solutions available for a not ridiculous cost. Now I do realise this is somewhat dealer’s choice in terms of whether I choose to risk these, but I was hoping someone else might have tried them/be able to tell me whether they’re worthwhile or basically made of tin!
