I think a colour similar to below could look good, as you say….

Or if you want a cheaper way 🤣

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Orkney Grey

Afternoon haylands,

I think we all reach a point where tinkering creeps in, I reach the same point, happy with the car in terms of mechanically so why change, so minor external adjustments make sense, if it were me i think I would drop a set of the 22" SV polished wheels and wrap the roof, i think you will be surprised what those minor changes could do.

If i remember rightly batman just sold his which was that very combo, discrete and subtle.

Each to their own, I think i would be tempted to stick with a wrap if it were me, rather than paint. Wraps last for years these days and will provide some paint protection as well if you get the PPF version, and if you change your mind no big shakes. I have those 22" polished SV wheels on my L405 SV and there do look very special when clean.

If you are considering a colour change in paint, then why not just go the whole hog and get the absolute colour you love.

What ever you do I am sure it will look great. Then there is no compromise.

DrF

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zermatt Silver

I rather like the two tone look, it's reminiscent of large luxury saloon cars that I used to see when I was a youngster. One of my grand fathers had a two tone Vanden Plas Princess 4.0Ltr R, Mind you that was many, many years ago Whistle Big Cry

England 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Thanks for all the input....

Well, 11 to 4 against, think I'll do it then.... Whistle

Seriously, I get these mad ideas in my head, like converting the old 322 for proper offroading... Rolling Eyes

I had considered all the implications, just wanted some feedback from you lot.....

I don't like wraps, and believe it or not I can get it done in paint cheaper...!!
I don't like black fatties.
The 21's on it are large enough, if anything I'd go to 20's
I don't like polished or diamond cut alloys.
Don't like the floating roof effect by doing it silver
And I shouldn't have bought an Autobiography as it has just about everything you can have so nothing to upgrade...

It's booked in for a two day paint correction in spring as at 10 years old it has a lot of swirl marks...

We're off in a week or so for our usual winter sun so I'll be having a think about other outlandish and possibly tasteless mods...

Any ideas, please speak up....

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Pete
