Hi all
We’ve just moved house and had to wait a while to move in so we put all our stuff into storage, including my Halfords Tool chest full of tools.

I cannot find the keys to unlock the box and I need to change the oil on the FFRR. They don’t look like the most secure lock in the world but I don’t want to damage it as the toolbox was new before it went into storage.
Any tips or tricks to open it? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

The ones in my shed are ancient, but they have the key number stamped on the lock - eg K13

Probably not the case for newer cabinets, but worth checking.

i had a similar problem. screwdriver turned it then replaced barrel after. presumably though screwdrivers are locked inside....  Cheers

If you do find the key lock number, go into your local Halfords and ask them to ring the Parts support team ay Head office.

I used to work at their HO and they can order you spare keys. (I write this as usually the colleague on the till won't know about it.
