Jerk

After being in stop start traffic for quite a while (at least 1/2 an hour) the car jerks when moving off. I assume its the gearbox deciding whether to use 1st or 2nd gear but it might be something more sinister anyone else experience this? Geoff

Fatty offroader used to do something similar when off roading, lots of low speed work and the gearbox oil temp used to be up near 100C as no cooling air was passing the gearbox oil cooler, I used to stick on the twin Jag fans I had on it and the temp came down and everything in the world was good again....

Might be worth checking the temp if you have an IID or similar.... Thumbs Up Pete
