Last full set I changed using Asda tyres who at the time were cheaper than closest competition by around £10 per corner. Think I did a full set of 19” Pirelli’s for about £650 give or take.

Great thanks. Asda was not my first thought for tyres!

I have used www.blackcircles.com for well over 15 years now and many many sets of tyres. They have always been the best price and I then use my preferred fitter (black n rounds in Silverstone) to fit them. |

Assuming they are not diamond cut I’d expecting to pay no more than £100 per wheel for powder coating, you might find cheaper. Prices are a bit variable depending on where you are and the quality of the final outcome. J |

I too have used them quite a lot but on this occasion Asda tyres worked out about £40 cheaper. They currently have some good prices for Pirelli, including a discount code for £40 off all 4.

I looked at Asda tyres and they were certainly cheap but when I went through the booking system the only fitters they had were small back street operations so I gave them a miss. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

The tyres will be fitted by the refurbers in my case so will go with the cheapest I can get, looking like Asda.

Also - I have zero’s on at the minute, is there any advantage to the verde aside from better winter performance? Or is it summer performance?!

I bought a set of defender alloys and new Pirelli all season tyres for £400.

Those are the summer variants of the Pirelli tyres. The OE and what most people fit are the all season variant. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

I usually check black circles, oponeo and camskill and have them fitted locally.

Got a good deal from Camskill.co.uk, went for All Season Zero’s in the end - seems it comes down to preference (verde v zero etc) so just went for the tyre with the best rating (A fuel, B wet, 69db).

I usually use Camskill and have them fitted locally but Kwik Fit with their current 20% off 4 Pirellis worked out best for me recently. |

Asda tyres is worth a look, whenever I’ve looked they’ve been the cheapest and they use the same decent local fitter as Blackcircles. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid
