Just received my breakdown cover renewal from Green Flag who we have been with for the past three years -- £112.

I expected that price especially as it's a good deal, on paper anyway, covering myself and wife and of course the caravan, but I have never had occasion to actually use them fortunately.

However before I renew I have looked at their review figures on Trustpilot and I was amazed to learn that
less than 75% of customers recorded 5 stars and there were 2000 reviews from Green Flag users since 2022 awarding only 1 ( yes one ) star with some horrendous accounts of their experiences !

Therefore this has put me off a bit and I wondered what other caravaners might suggest as a reliable alternative for breakdown cover. RR owner

My RAC cover says it come with Caravan cover. Not sure what level it is as it comes with the Bank pack. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Check any alternative providers for max van length - i found it in the small print with the RAC (7m I think it was), unless I was in the Caravan and Camping club then the limit did not apply !!! Go figure that scam.

I have been with GFlag for a number of years through the caravan club. Three call outs all very good responce etc. Thankfully not with caravan or FF.

I'd stick with what I know not what those with an axe to grind tell me. I'ver never really paid much notice of reviews. We pay £175 which is personal for SWMBO and me premium plus so any car we are driving or passenger full recovery or onward to holiday then recovering, home start and both the kids covered too!
