Been actively looking for the last couple of months , just keep missing the ideal one by a few minutes ..

The SQ7 has been overall very good, fast a.f. but it just isn't a fatty.

Been looking at 2019 on 4.4sdv8s, but there's more chance of getting the right spec in a P525. I want every extra

I do mainly short journeys during the week , ferrying the kids about various clubs, office is a 2 mile drive too, so used to have dpf issues with the last 405.

Tow the pikey chariot max 5 times per year, was just down Winchester area in July, kids and wife hated the long journey down so probably staying yorkshire north for trips until daughter stops coming with us (2 years max). This is what worries me , I think the 4.4 used to average around 18 towing as we have a big van . Are we talking less than 10 with the petrol?

So help me with the man maths , yes the petrol ticks the boxes, can I afford to run it, aye I think ). Oh I still have the Panamera too so 2 gutsy b'stards on the drive

My old 4.2 SC was around 13 mpg when towing the hayburner on A roads. V8 or else ...

Christ you're still here, how's the west coast ??, Knew it wouldn't be pretty, put up with dreadful economy 4-5 times p.a. no dpf / egr stuff to worry about is a big plus .

If you want all the extras then it’s a SV Autobiography you’re after. I tried for almost a month to find what was important to me the signature sound system in an autobiography not really fussed with the screens but had to be petrol as a lot of short journeys and finally purchased one last month. 2021 SVautobiography Dynamic Black

I’ve had it a little over a month and done 800 miles so you can see I’m not the greatest traveller. I picked it up from Guildford and drove back to in between Llanelli and Carmarthen, steady I must admit at 65mph on the cruise as any more points I’m done and achieved just under 32mpg when I got home. I reset the trip and it’s doing just pottering 20mpg so I thought 18mpg just pottering and 28mpg on a run before the purchase so happy so far. These are a bit more powerful than 525 but I honestly don’t think you would tell the difference if you floored it but stand to be corrected with members that have driven both. Well, after getting mucked about by 2 different dealers, deposit down on a 2019 SV AB Dynamic , as always, buying blind , hope I like it when collection arranged , SVO colour too, Scafell Grey.

Well wish me luck , as per , couldn’t sleep so fook it , might get down there for half 9 at this rate
