GM 5 speed - Texmatic 7305E replaced

Hi all

I just tried to order 20L of Texamatic 7045E to carry out a double gearbox oil change on my 2005 TD6.

The supplier I was buying from has now contacted me and told me that Texamatic 7045E has now been replaced / superseded by Texaco ATF HD 389.

So I guess that I will do a double or triple fill and drain to get rid of the old 7045E?

In my opinion, HD 389 is a better substitute than Dexron VI, due to its higher viscosity:
