2011 USB

Is it possible to play videos from a USB stick on the 2011 media instead of dvds to watch while on the move with the kids? Got a long trip from South Wales to the Scottish Highlands in August. Or is there another way round it? Ant thoughts will be appreciated.

No mate. You’d still need some type of “player” even if you could get a way to feed into the RCA input for the rear entertainment.

You could always burn a DVD with the movies on and play that. Not really helped I know.

Whichever way you choose to try and do it, it’s a faff.

I thought that might be the case. Burn dvds it is then. Thanks for your input.

I had a Firestick working on the rear screens a couple of years ago. I had to buy a set of RCA cables and a converter. Bit messy with cables all over the place. Could’ve plumbed them all in I suppose but didn’t bother as we don’t have rear seat passengers that often.

I’ll see if I can find them and let you know what I bought.
