I know this will sound like Scots bias against England, but as a lover of running and flowing rugby, I was really glad that Englands attempts to win games by continually feeding Jonny Wilkinson drop goal attempts has finally caught up with them and they got what they didn't really deserve against other teams in this and previous world cups.

That was certainly a much closer game than expected. Hats off to the French, I think they actually played better and adapted their tactics to neutralise the All Blacks game, which to be fair was suffering from 3rd and 4th choice fly half combinations that simply weren't seasoned and fluent. But the winner is the team with the most points, which was a massive relief to All Black fans and the entire country
