Upgraded 2018 lights for 2016

Hi ! Have had my 2016 range for coming up to 2 years and feel like I want to update the look perhaps. U have ordered a 2018 style grille for it, but am also looking at changing the rear lights like a few of the other forum members have. Any advice re problems or advice on where best to purchase from? I currently have the 2016 lights which turn on and have a side light in red as well as the back lights, I believe they are called NAS spec? Would prefer this style for the 2018 upgrade as well. Thanks for all the advice!

I received a pair of Powerful UK aftermarket 2018 style tail lights and the main large red outer LED have a pinkish tone to them but I believe the genuine Land Rover lights are a true intense red. Has anyone else noticed this?

Thanks. 👍 I was hoping to find some nearer to home and perhaps cheaper…

I’ve also registered an interest for new ones coming from this company:

Recently did the switch over to facelift rear lights.

The powerful UK video on YouTube was very well worth a watch in advance. The switchover took about 10 minutes for each light - I was surprised it was that quick.

The only difference I’d note from the video was that my factory lights were fixed with torx and not hex bolts. I also didn’t need a trim removal tool to get the old lights off the car - they simply slid out rearwards.

The ones I bought (eBay, UK reseller) came fully fitted with the adapter wiring loom needed for the pre MY17 connectors - so I just plugged them in and they worked.
