Warranty Expiring

Hello All,

I did try a search but couldn't find my exact question or an answer to it

My manufacturer warranty will expire next month, I've been onto the land rover website and filled out my details and its quoted me the extended warranty.

I understand this to be the same warranty as you get when you purchase a used Land Rover?

Also is there any value to paying the additional £150 for Land Rover assistance if I already have AA cover?

thanks

Did you not already have AA cover (Landrover assist) included free with the manufactures warranty? 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

My extended warranty is also expiring in soon. Been quoted £1704 for next 12 mtgs and £1884 with road assistance.

As above I currently have roadside assistance from a package bank account.

But wanted to know if the Land Rover offers anything special or will it get car in for repair quicker/loan car?

Open to suggestion of pro/cons with LR assistance.

Thanks

LR assist is beneficial as they come out promptly and they liaise directly with carcare plan..

and it works abroad as well..

i recommend having it.. ... - .- -.

Yes that would be useful Stan. But do they get you in repair at a dealer any quicker…also do they provide a loan car until your is waiting for repair?

As the biggest problem I’ve had when the car had an issue earlier in the year was to find a slot at dealer with a loan car. Fortunately the car was still drivable until ready to go into dealers.

But if the car was not drivable then I’ve would’ve had to leave it at dealers with no loan car.

So just wondering. 👍

using LR assist gets you to the front of the queue most times..

although when busy they do send out an AA van, the dedicated vans/techs know their stuff.. ... - .- -.
