L322 Sill Repair Panels and Jacking Points Now Available

There have been many threads about the lack of availability of L322 sill repair panels, so a while back, I decided to make them.

Some folks may know from topics passim that I've had these repair panels in production for some time. It is a time-consuming thing having the dies and presses made, sending samples back and forth, and the inevitable slow boat from China.

However, now they have landed. And here they are.

These are now available on the small site I made for the purpose, along with the wheel caps I had done previously and some main dealer keyrings I picked up recently. Find them here: >>L322 Range Rover Sill Repair Panels and Jacking Points<< 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography in black

I've got that, Francy. You should see those about Wednesday. Feel free to put some feedback on the topic when you have fitted them if you'd be so kind.

I wouldn't mind a "fitted" photo or two from someone here actually, if it's no trouble. Something I can use in a blog post.

As I don't use Facebook, if anyone here is on any of the Range Rover groups there or any other relevant forums or sites, I'd appreciate it if you could spread the word there that these are available.

TJ and Kevin, thanks for the feedback. Thumbs Up 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography in black

I'm pleased about the comments on good pricing. They need to be to shift an initial 2000 item run. Rolling with laughter

I'm working with a factory that has made a lot of stuff for me over about 15 years. They do mostly injection moulding for me, but their speciality is actually cast aluminium engine parts and pressed steel items.

They make all kinds of mundane stuff like air fryer lids, barbecue parts and oven trays for other manufacturers, but they also do some automotive panels and badges, some for OEMs like VW and Gaz in Russia. So it wasn't a complex or unknown thing for them to do these.

Also, as they come from the factory, to me, to you, using my existing set up for my other online shops for shipping, there's no added platform or middlemen fees. No distributor markups or greedy 20% Amazon fees. Of course, they are on eBay too, but at more money to reflect the platform fees there. So buying direct as anyone here will be doing makes it cheaper. Hence decent prices. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography in black

Great job Stuart. Mine is starting to go on the arches but it will have to wait until next year I think, if I still have it. 2012 Vogue TDV8 in Aintree green

Great job Stuart - what a star Smile

This is one of the main problems on every L322, the way the sunroof drain tubes were designed did not help either going down the C pillar and rusting the wheel arches in the meantime - bad news indeed - and why it's so common Sad

To avert it from happening again in 10 or 20 years time, and while you are cutting away the rear arch it might be prudent to look at the bottom sunroof drain holes ( on both sides of the car ) and then look at ways to prevent the drain tube blocking up again with all the crud and dirt flows into them.

NSR sill replacement part and jacking point arrived, possibly going under the knife next week. Parts look good and arrived within a few days of ordering.

Does anyone have a picture of a finished job but without rear arch liner and sill cover in place? Trying to find a picture taken from inside wheel arch?, looking towards end of sill to see how it meets up inside. 2010 Supercharged
