Is the extra capacity a heat management solution? The extra thermal mass of the added fluid can more fluid movement through the valves without too much heat build up? First time FFRR owner |

I doubt that more extension is the reason as the fluid moves between above and below the piston as the shock extends and retracts. If more extension is required then a longer shock will be required.

@Craig: what shocks did you replace them with? My 2013 needs new shocks and of course it uses different ones than most due to being that unicorn crossover year. It appears my correct part numbers are LR034266 & LR034271. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8 |
