Exhaust filter full visit dealer :(

Hi Guys,

Yesterday I did a long motorway journey to and back but mostly cruise control around 70 so probably 2000RPM or below. However 10mins from home it showed Exhaust filter full visit dealer and lost power so drove it home carefully. TBH I do mostly short trips with some longer motorway journey thrown in here and there.

I'm currently reading @KOT https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic60839...t=dpf+full but its a long read and will take some time. Any advice in the meantime on how and where I can get this sorted would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like it's failed too many regens (various variables need to be true for it to happen, including temperature, fuel level, distance covered, exhaust temperature, speed etc). It probably just needs a forced regeneration.

But should also be checked for intake leaks. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Thumbs Up

Also get a OBD code reader some of them allow you to do a forced Regen and monitor live regens etc, anyway if there are sensor faults picked up from your device, then these will help pin point problem area. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Exactly the same thing happened to me after a long journey. The AA forced a regen and all was well but I haven't done a long motorway journey since. One thing that I did find was an almost completely blocked MAP sensor. Easy to take out and easy to clean. Not sure if it had anything to do with it but I haven't seen the Amber or red lights since.🤞. Get the Kot Kit and some valium and welcome to the society of soot watchers.
