Insurance price suprised me ..

I'm looking to come back to Range Rover after10 years of Discovery. I only do a low mileage with quite a few short journeys, so I was fancying a Supercharged 5.0. I thought after all the horror insurance stories I'd better check the comparison sites - surprisingly for me the 5.0 Supercharged was actually cheaper than the 4.4TDV8 (late l322) I wonder why that should be ?

Easy answer to that - nobody can afford to go far in the supercharged........

Just leave it with half a tank of fuel in it. A 5.0 supercharged won't have the range to leave the parish Rolling with laughter "There is no replacement for displacement" - W O Bentley

Scotland 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

When I went from a 4.2 SC to a 3.6 TDV8, my policy went up. They explained that bit of logic as, “there are more TVD8s on the road than SCs, so our stats indicate they have more accidents”.
