Roof Racks

I am thinking about taking off my Land Rover Crossbarss from my 04 L322, and putting them on my 11 L322, have taken a photo of the roof bars on the 04, and a second photo of the 11, which does not have the front to back roof rails, but what look like indents (made of plastic) in the roof gutter, so am guessing that I also need to take the "Front to Back" rails off the 04 and use these 6 indents to secure the "Front to Back" rails to the 11 car

Maybe I could also look out for some sports bars to save me doing this Smile

Front to Back Rails use Crossbars
Sportsbars don't need the front to back rails ( but are rated for less load weight )

Yeah, you'll need to transfer the whole lot, it's a 10 minute job, they'll be 6 (3 each side) bolts in your roof 'runners' undo them, take runners off, if you can do it with someone else you can leave the bars in situ and move it all in one go, the little tabs on the 11 plate will just need a little screw driver to pry open, these will need to be removed, there is a knack to it, as a lot tend to snap, once they're off, just sit your runners over the same holes as before on the other car and put your 6 bolts in.
