Quick update, turns out I had some old tubing and mace managed to seal it back up and reconnect it. Much easier than expected… result.

I believe the vaccum line in question operates the actuator which operates the 'manifold tuning valves' within the intake.

You may well have a vacuum pipe loose somewhere then, fingers crossed it’s an easy one like mine. My symptoms were a fair bit of travel in the brake pedal but had normal braking performance, if that makes sense. A few presses after repairing the pipe gave it the consistent, firm feel I was expecting ![]() |
