I replaced mine with new original about 5yrs ago and they need doing again from memory someone took theirs of and refurbished them might be an option? |

Yeap, I'll probably try to do them on the car, its a bit of a faff but maybe simpler.

The plastic covers are quite easy to get off, especially if you use plastic car trim tools, so you do not damage the paintwork. Then use a product called 'Sticky stuff remover' to get rid of all the old adhesive.

Yes, very likely the most effective use of time. I think I’ll try to re-paint the handles though and taking them off is the cleanest way to go I guess. I’m thinking of trying cerakote rather than normal rattle can paint but I’ll have to research the ability to be used on plastics (assuming they are not alloy??)
