Is a non operational rear door an MOT fail?

I have been searching on this topic and getting conflicting results, my passenger rear door has given up the ghost, however car needs an MOT, is the door being non operational an MOT fail? Any help appreciated, thanks Thumbs Up 2013 L405 Autobiography Baltic Blue

I read that its only the front doors that are critical and an MOT failure, the rear doors are for access for other MOT items, i suspect seat belts etc

I'm in the rear doors don't cause a fail camp - I have had a rear door previously unable to open from inside that was noted as an advisory, but it didn't fail.

When I read the attachment, that also suggests that it's the front door only that have to open from the inside and out. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDv8

I’d be more worried that a rear door didn’t open.

RRV8SC, I agree however it is not a vital door at the moment, as much as the MOT is due, no different to a 2 door vehicle, its more a time issue Thumbs Up 2013 L405 Autobiography Baltic Blue

ALL doors need to open from the outside

Only front doors need to open from the inside
