How to find out a cars old Irish registration

Guys as per the title, I'm looking for my RRs old registration number. I belive it was first registered in Ireland, then recently brought into the UK and subsequently has got UK plates now, so does anyone know how/ if, this can be done

Many thanks

If you have any service history from the republic you could call the garage and supply chassis number. 2015 4.4 AB

Hi, I have done that, the first garage can't find any history as they delete everying after six years,
The second garage needs the original registration as they can't find the VIN number in their system Big Cry

Most supplying dealers usually write it in the first page of the service book

I belive so, the same company serviced it up to 102,000 miles, these are the ones that have deleted the information

Here's a thought... If you hpi a car in England it usually gives you all the previous registration numbers.

Not sure if it's the same in Ireland but it might be worth a try.

I have a hpi doc, be it a basic one from the dealer, and there's nothing on it

May have to be an enhanced one then.

I bought a Sierra cosworth years back and it came with a hpi print out which showed all the previous reg numbers.

I was quite gutted to learn that it had originally been registered K13 BAD which had unfortunately been removed when it was first sold at 3 years old
