England 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Luxor
Servicing. Me or the dealer.

I have a 2013 4.4 sdv8 with 82k miles. It has always been serviced by dealers. The online LR one has all the details, but now they wont take any non LR dealer info to add to the online history.
I have a much trusted Indy who has always done my servicing and more. However, I am wondering about doing future services myself. This year I paid £325 for a small interim service, oil and filter, plus fuel filter. Yes they checked the levels, visually checked brake pads. and tyre pressures etc. Nothing in that that I would have a problem with. The Indys hourly rate is now £50.
So the question is. Is it worth a dealer doing it so that you have the proof of service on resale ? 2013 SDV8 4.4 SE Luxor.

Thanks Stan. I did exactly that for the last two years. This year I did the same repeatedly but to no avail. I will try again, thanks. 2013 SDV8 4.4 SE Luxor.

I've always done all my own servicing. I know the L405 is a different beast to the Classic Range Rovers and old Jags etc that I've had over the last 50 odd years but looking at the service schedule ... Give everything a good looking at and change the oil? I'll be doing my own and a lot more than what's on the schedule, for as long as I'm able. Razz

Thanks Spridget. That is my background too. Food for thought, my only concern was resale. 2013 SDV8 4.4 SE Luxor.

Just a quick update on the LR online service history. It would appear that the email address for this has changed from. Lradvice@jaguarlandrover.com. which now bounces to. Clientcare@jaguarlandrover.com 2013 SDV8 4.4 SE Luxor.
