I noticed 2 items listed within a service schedule at a specialist,

Air con lubrication
Air bag compressor brass connector/bush replacement or clean

Are the above important as I have no evidence of them being done within the SH and I haven’t had them done within my 20 months ownership.

I had a new gearbox sump/filter and fresh ZF life lube fitted when I purchased the car. The filter/sump came from euro car parts. I don’t have any leaks so it’s fitted well but I have slight paranoia about such an important item being non standard/genuine. Should I change for a LR version or should I stop worrying!

I can detect gear changes especially 1st to 2nd, it’s not harsh or clunky but it’s noticeable. Would I benefit from a mega flush or would the oil and sump change have been adequate? It was done approx 4k miles ago.

Just had my a/c recharged, had the car 5 yrs this August & noticed the a/c wasn’t working the other day. Apparently the a/c guy recommends a check up every 2 or 3 years & a re-gas comes with a lubricant. That’ll answer your first question😁, compressor, no idea.
Had my gearbox megaflushed 5 years ago, following year had the gearbox filter changed and this year, Ian Bodsworth came down & did another megaflush & all the other oils. All under the banner of ‘preventative maintenance’ or oil ocd…..take your pick🤣
Gearbox filter change only gets rid of 40% of the oil (I believe) it’s up to the individual, my mind is clear for another 5 yrs.
