Morning, just thought I should introduce myself and my newly acquired Orkney grey 2012 L322 Westminster 4.4 TDV8. I’ve been lurking here for some months researching before buying so thank you for all the help and tips across the forum members old and current. I’m not new to the green oval, just sold my 2.4 Puma Defender 90 which was my daily, and still have an ‘03 TD5 and we have owned 3 discovery’s and a RR sport all doing family duties across the years. My wife runs a ‘22 Defender 110 as our current “family car”. My buying journey was a bit stop start as I originally planned to buy a 5:0 litre but couldn’t find a good one in the right time/place, I also wanted a light interior but again was disappointed with all the ones I viewed so in the end I had a reset and bought a 70k mile TDV8 with a dark interior which I’m very pleased with. My other passion is old Porsches and I have a ‘74 2:0 litre 914 that I’ve owned for over 20 years oh and a not so old ‘15 Boxster 2.7 manual. Ironically the Boxster which was to be my daily between the Defender and the L322 decided to throw multiple warning lights and is now waiting for a wallet lightening visit to Porsche. I am sure I shall be back with questions along the way, thanks in advance!
